Forex Market Outlook for Week of 5th July

In this complimentary video Nick McDonald provides his market outlook for the week ahead on forex majors including why the Euro could be set to rally further and key levels to watch on USDJPY.  Nick also discusses the difference between being bullish or bearish on a market versus having an actual reason to enter a trade. There is a big difference between the two.

Market Outlook - The Week Ahead For The Majors

Every trader regardless if they trade off tick, minute, hourly or daily charts should have an understanding of what the higher timeframes are doing.  Even an intraday trader will have greater success if they are trading in the same direction as the higher timeframes.

In this video Travis reviews the weekly and monthly charts for the Majors and discusses his outlook for them over the coming week.

What It Takes To Become A Full Time Trader

It is the dream of many traders to one day quit their job and become a full time trader. Trade With Precision founder Nick McDonald did exactly that nearly 6 years ago and in this newsletter we will share with you some of the advice he gave to readers of Traders' Magazine when interviewed in November 2007 on how to achieve the same goal. The advice today remains unchanged.

This Week's Trading Opportunities: AUDUSD, EURUSD & USDCHF

Whilst the forex markets are likely to be very quiet on Monday due to public holidays in the UK and the USA, the rest of the week looks like it will present some good trading opportunities.  In this video Travis discusses three of those opportunities and how he is going to be playing them.

Will The Chinese Yuan Begin to Float Freely?

There have been many rumours recently in the media that the Chinese currency Yuan (CNY) will be re-evaluated or even begin to float freely in the near future. In this newsletter, I would like to share my personal view on this controversial topic.

Walking The Walk With Live Trade Calls

At Trade With Precision we pride ourselves on walking the walk and calling trades to our Precision Perspective subscribers before they occur.  In this video Travis shows some examples of our recent live trade calls so you can get a feel for our Precision Perspectives video newsletter and also get an insight into two of the strategies we teach at Trade With Precision.

How To Trade News or Earnings Announcements

The key to profitable trading is to stack the probabilities in your favour and only take high probability low risk trades.  All too often I see traders attempting to predict news announcements or earnings results only to see them lose time and time again.  Once you fully understand and appreciate the unpredictable nature of the subsequent price movements after these announcements you will realise that the only low risk method for trading these is to stand aside and not trade them at all.

Greece and the Markets in Perspective

The media reporting surrounding Greece is the hot topic for international press right now. In today's video newsletter Nick McDonald puts the situation into perspective and shares his views on Greece and its likely effect on financial markets worldwide.

How To Deal With A Losing Streak

At some point in your trading career everybody will go through a period of a long string of losing trades.  How you deal with that situation can be the difference between long term profitable success and failure.

In this video Travis discusses how he recently went through a 6 trade losing streak and what steps he took to not only get out of it but also to reduce the chances of it happening again.

US Indices: One Year Since Nick Called the Bottom

Tomorrow (16th April 2010) is the one year anniversary since Nick McDonald called the bottom in US Index Markets to his newsletter subscribers. Take yourself back to that time...the press was as negative as it could be and analysts were pointing to a bear market rally. Almost everyone expected markets to fall further. Meanwhile Nick saw technical signs of the market bottoming and posted them publicly.

The videos that follow are the exact versions published, the first on 16th April 2009 and a follow up on 6th May. Watch them closely as many technical ingredients are on offer as to how Nick made his decisions.
