“Markets are never wrong – opinions often are”

“Markets are never wrong – opinions often are” is a quote from a legend  who traded the markets in the early 1900's called Jesse Livermore. If you want to read Jesse Livermore's story then we suggest you read the one and only "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator" by Edwin Lefevre. 

How is this quote still relevant today you might ask? Well it tells us as traders to leave our opinions at the door when we trade as we need to learn to trade the markets, not our opinions. Too often our opinions can clutter our minds with various views and we forget to actually trade what is going on in the markets right in front of us.
